Payment is due at the beginning of each lesson session. Payment can be cash, money order or personal check. There will be a $25 fee for returned checks. After a returned check has occurred any further lessons must be paid by cash.
Riders must wear an ATS/SEI approved riding helmet and riding boots with a heel, long pants (either breeches or comfortable tight fitting jeans.)
Family members and guests must wear proper footwear when visiting.
Students are matched to their horses based on compatibility, experience, and temperament. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with your horse, you may request to change horses for your next lesson.
At no time are any students permitted off our property unless with an instructor. We are not responsible for mishaps that occur off our property. If you are unsure of our property boundaries, please ask.
All horses trailered in for a lesson MUST have copies of current shots and a negative Coggins. There will beNO exceptions.
Cancellation Policy
24-hour notice MUST be given if a student cannot make it to a lesson (unless an emergency). If the student fails to show up or calls less than 24 hours before the start time of their lesson there will be a $20 charge for the inconvenience that will be charged to you. If possible, we will reschedule lessons on short notice or for other days, but we cannot guarantee any accommodation. Please remember -- if you don't show up for your lesson, your instructor still did. Your instructor still needs to be paid, and the horse still needs feed, veterinary care and farrier work!
