Melissa Peragallo was born in New Hampshire and began her riding career when her family moved to Indiana when she was 12.  She began working at Penny Oaks Stables in Noblesville, Indiana when she was 15. After graduating from Carmel High School a semester early, she began teaching lessons and training full time by age 18.  Melissa graduated from Lake Erie College in 2007 being one of three in her class with a bachelors degree in Equine Teaching/Training.  She has worked at training and boarding facilities in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Florida with different riding disciplines and types of horses.  She started at Davis Equine Center in August 2008 and is offering training for horses and lessons for riders.
